Limassol

Limassol is the second biggest town of Cyprus and the biggest Municipality. It has become one of the greatest Mediterranean harbours for the transhipment of goods. Therefore, Limassol is actually one of the most important maritime, commercial, tourism and service centers in the area. For further information about the city of Limassol, please consult:

Intercity buses operate routes between different cities in Cyprus. These bus routes are operated directly from one city to the other, or with an intermediate stop.

There is a good network of buses from Limassol.

All students receive a 50% discount provided they are in possession of a valid student ID.

The University rents a number of private apartments/rooms, in which students are offered  a lower rent price. Kindly note that most apartments are shared, and that for each claim for accommodation you need to mention the period of staying, with months and days, e.g from April 13th- July 28th .

We advise students not to proceed with the signing of any contract unless they are 100% certain that the location of the accommodation and the accommodation itself is completely satisfactory to them.

It is better for your own convenience to rent locations in or close to the center of Limassol, within proximity (on foot) to the University Buildings.

We advise students to notify the Erasmus office concerning their flight schedule at least a week before their coming, so that we may be able to offer help once students have arrived at Larnaca or Paphos airport.

Kindly note that entering Cyprus from the North, is considered illegal. The only legal entries of the Republic of Cyprus, are Larnaca and Paphos airports and Limassol Port.

All Erasmus students arriving to Larnaca or Paphos airports, can take the shuttle Bus- including weekends and holidays-in order to arrive at Limassol(Agios Georgios Havouzas).

From there you can contact at least 3 days earlier leda.taxi@yahoo.com in order to go to your Accommodation lodge.
